Terms of Use for the Digital Collections

With the Digital Collections, the Bach Archive Leipzig would like to make large parts of its special collections available free of charge with as few technical and legal restrictions as possible. To this end, we choose to provide them under the CC-BY-SA 4.0 license: You may copy and redistribute the digital objects, transform the material for any purpose, and build upon it, provided that you acknowledge the Bach Archive Leipzig or the permanent lender as the source in accordance with the copyright notice of the respective data set. In case of redistribution, you must use the same license.

The Digital Collections are displayed in the highest resolution available. The images can be downloaded as JPG files with a resolution of 300 dpi. Higher resolutions can be provided on request; we charge processing fees according to our fee schedule.
