No 131 Ritter Rost and the Schrottkompott family

Is this a story in music, or music in a story? Difficult to say. Whatever the case, the antics that the three actors get up to on stage are a whole lot of fun.
For children aged 5 years and older and their accompanists (in German)
Artists: Jörg Hilbert (lute, renaissance guitar, recitation), Dominik Schneider (flute, gittern, melodica, voice), Fabian Strotmann (voice)
The inventor of the Ritter Rost character, Jörg Hilber, tells stories about his favourite hero while accompanying himself on the lute. Tenor Fabian Strotmann and flautist and gittern-player Dominik Schneider also stick their musical oar in. The music is performed on mediaeval instruments in a historically informed manner – but that’s not all. You’ll hear new music, but also really old music – from the days of chivalry to Johann Sebastian Bach right through to rock music. Everybody’s invited, from age five. Sourpusses, stay away!
